I do think some of you are reading between the lines even though he never mentioned about built up areas he could of been on about drag days. its a simple question he asked. as I said its either driving tecnec or a upgraded diff.
If you read the whole thread he said he encourages street racing on scn! Doesn't sound like drag racing to me!

Diff won't make much difference with shite tyres though, you'll just spin both of them up instead of one 
Ok to continue the conversation. if ya had good tyres what diff would anyone recommend. I want to eliminate wheel slip on acceleration.
Ah getting some were now cheers the lad that had it before me used it on track days so doupt they was budget tyres like mine. I'm used to feeding the power gently coz my maf went a couple of month ago and if I put ma foot striat down it would do nothing but just splitter a bit finally got that sorted robbed me 60 odd pound that could of got me a decent short shift adaptor.

Get wat you mean I bought mine early this year I havnt touched it lol it was all done already just met the lad that had it before me on here lol the only think with mine is that coz so much has been done to it it's a monster on fuel so thinking if I sell and get a cupra r standard it will be quicker but also a lot better on fuel consumption wat you think?
Expensive 'better' tyres are a myth, go for the cheaper (softer) option! They will grip the ground better with them being soft...they wont last as long, and will slightly decrease your handling, but will do a better job with acceleration. I buy cheap part worn tyres for 25 quid each, and I beat M3's off the mark
