Off the clock 160mph+ genuinely in Germany, 4 up, on the Kerpen autobahn on route to Schumacher karting from the Nurburgring!
Stage 1 tweaked with 7.5degrees timing advance (Water Methanol Injection) etc!

Ill have to visit this autobahn lol think its called the M4 in Wales aswell :)

surely it depends on the final gear ratio? more power or mods wont make any difference unless your geared to bo beyond 160 for example.

There is a formula you can use to work out exact maximum speed based on the gear and/or final drive ratios, think it worked out about 162.something MPH for the LCR. Bear in mind that this will look a lot higher on the speedo as they always over-read.

Depends on which limits the car, final gear or lack of power to fully utilise it
Effects of drag and aerodynamics will be much noticeable

every vag car i have been in with a tw@-nav has been 4mph out bar my old cupra, that was 4 out but then i got it to be 1 out when i changed the foil on the clocks to white ones, took me bloody hours and a tank of fuel though, not woth the messing around either lol

I never would hit those kind of speeds mate I have a 2 year old daughter and wanna see her grow up! 1 popped tyre at those speeds and your dead ! Im a slow driver ;-)
