Towbar

Looking to fit a towbar to my leon tdi however I am not sure what will fit.

I have seen people on here with Witter VW43C which is a Bora towbar.

Does this mean that any Golf / Bora / A3 (non 4wd) will fit the mighty leon?

I'm not sure they all fit mate
Iirc when u was going to fit one winter does one that fits but don't know about others. I'd triple check if getting one designed for others especially a bora one! Aren't they longer?

I have had a little look on the world of google and someone on the skoda forum said the towbar instructions are for golf/bora as well.

I assume this means that they are the same with just different cuts in the bumper to make them fit.

Anyone know?

Hi mate I fitted that one with detachable towball you have to cut the bumper tho.

Do you mean you bought a golf mk4 tow bar and fitted it to a leon? What model do you have?

Hi I fitted the witter vw43c to my leon tdi pd 150 fr I had to cut the bumper tho and I used the quantum detachable tow hitch that you can buy extra instead of having a fixed type.
