Transponder coding/sync

OK... Realised its probably best if i get a spare key cut... i bought all the jazz for it ages ago just never got it cut, i programmed it to unlock and everything, but i havent yet programmed it to work with my immobiliser...

So how may i go about doing so?
I need a code from SEAT from what i have gathered from searching but then what do i do with it?

I have VAGCOM which i think i also need.

Just need to put it all together

Sorry Ben not too sure how you can get the new immobiliser programmed but if you have a second key that for whatever reason didn't work (hence you getting a spare remote together), you can take the little immobiliser chip out of it and place it inside the desired new key. If you only have one key with the immobiliser chip then I'm afraid I can't help.

Figured if i lost the only key i have itll be more expensive to replace all the locks
