What triggers automatic handbrake in P when parked and switching off motor?
Most of the time I am parked on the same slot, on flat level. And it's 50:50, handbrake triggers automatically or does not.
I have tried to check for example my foot on brake when switching off (or not), higher pressure on the brake pedal (or light pressure), but I was not able to find out the same conditions for triggering or not. It looks to me completely random.
The only one reason I found in manual for automatic triggering handbrake is "switched on motor & DSG in D/S or N or R & driver door opens".
Nothing about triggering handbrake while in P.
On top of that, my manual recommends to use handbrake everytime in Park and that it's possible to set it up in car settings via multimedia screen.
I did not found it there anywhere...
Do you have it? If so, where? Do you use handbrake everytime in Park (with DSG)?
