Trouble starting from cold

I am having a bit of an annoying problem with my 07 FR. When I start up the engine in the morning from cold it takes quite a lot of effort to turn over. Once its started its ok starting up for the rest of the day, I just don't know whether I should take it in as there are only six months left on my warranty. The other thing is that it is difficult to demonstrate the problem when I get there because the engine is always going to be warm enough to start with no problems.
I am wondering what to do.

Drop it off at the dealers the night before if you feel it will be secure there

Probably needs new glow plugs and I'm not too sure if they are covered by the warrenty

May be a daft question but have you checked the oil is topped up OK?

Oil appears to be fine. Was wondering if it needs some kind of attention. Maybe spark plugs or something. I do realize I do not know what I'm talking about. Maybe I should just take it in and they will find what's wrong.
