Bought my Cupra Leon Estate 1.5 TDI Manuel in June this year it's back in the dealership for infotainment problems and the engine randomly cuts out with no warning the dealership has had it for 5 weeks and can't find the problem.
Hi tracktoy had no warnings of the engine cutting out a technician road tested the car the engine cut out on him but nothing showed on the computer so they are trying to send the car back to me.Sorry to hear you are having problems. Have you had any warnings on the dashboard or have you had the car scanned any DTC codes shown.
Thanks at last someone agrees with me I have been in touch with Cupra customer services they did speak to the dealership but that's as far as it went I had a conversation with the service manager today he said they're not interested because nothing is recorded on the computer.Hmm I am no expert but if they have not fixed it they need to seek help from seat tech support otherwise it's not fit for purpose in my view
Yes that's what said because they can't see a problem they can't fix it I don't know why they won't contact Cupra technical department thats what Cupra told me would happen originally but it hasn't. I've just seen 3 new members with the same problem that gives me more to hit them with tomorrow. And yet there engineer saw the problem. Just because they can't fins an issue on the computer. That's there software bug so they should explain why it failed (which they have seen) but left no trace.
Syphon ( Scott) thanks been to the dealership today poo pard every thing I've been told by you people I asked them have you really spoken to the Cupra technical department yes they said but they didn't know what to do about it what a load of B S I've given them 7 days to come up with a fix after 5 weeks they have put my car as priority joke it was looked up outside on the forecourt when I arrived.Welcome to the community. Hope you get it sorted.
