Just had a brain wave (woo calm down) the only real power gain you could proberly make on a 1.4 wold proberly be to get it super chipped as they are really the only people that do anything for a engine that size. Its only a 5bhp gain but i think the torque is a little better so it should make a noticable differance to you anyway. It is quite alot of dosh for the power gain mind, But take a look.

Thats the best your going to get on a 1.4 just remember bhp isnt everything, Upping the torque is more what your looking for i think. when i had my cupra re-mapped i gained around 40bhp, and around 80 lbs/ft of torque and thats what made the differance!

Ye get what ur saying i just really want acceleration most as i kno it would be near impossibale to get beter top speed but thats alright i never get more than £115 in any car anyways either run out of road or someone pulls out

As much as I hate to put down small capacity cars, you just not going to get massive accell from a 1300kg, 75bhp car without spending major money. If you want to give it a kick get a professonally installed nitrous system.
