Hey guys, I just wanted to give some good feedback on a local ish tuner to me
After looking into stage one options I noticed there is a huge following of R. Tech with the VW gti guys so took a trip to see them...first impressions were the premises needed a lick of paint lol but the level of expertise they have for the VAG engines was amazing!!!
Whilst I was there, they had a mk5 golf gti about to go for stage 2+ which looked amazing...the guys who owned it were from Essex and had travelled x3 hours to have the work done. Had a forge twin take with uprated filters, walk kit etc and were generally very good to talk too (although given me too many ideas)
They said they prefer to travel to R. Tech as all their remaps are custom to each car rather than generic (although they are Revo licensed it seems too)...and the best part is the price
Stage One for tfsi is £290
I thought this was worth posting for any midland based owners as they seemed a very decent set of guys....I was set on AmD Essex but now not so sure lol
Anyway,just my two pence worth
