Hello..

First post.

Just purchased a Mk1 Leon 1.8 20v

I will be entering it into a 5hrs race come this Saturday... Hoping for the best.. :)

However.. Today I took it to the race track and had it go through its paces over 2 hrs. Then I had turbo loss and the following fault codes.. Turbo came back once I was on my way home..
1. boost pressure valve n75 p1548
2. engine torque monitor, control limit exceeded p1335

so my question.. any thoughts..? Need to change the N75 valve? perhaps recheck all vacuum hoses. any other thoughts?

car in question is a Leon 1.8 T 20v and was mapped many years ago.. 200t km...

Thx mty12345

I will give it a go, and check the connection and replace the n75 valve..

Strange, today, I really cained it on the road. Plenty of boost, and had turbo all the time.. no faults.. ran like a champ..

but I will still do the above.. no fun sitting for 5 hrs on a race track in a 1.8t with no T,...:)

Thx...

so just to close the thread...

We entered the 5 hr race full of hope and optimism with 52 other cars... we being the one SEAT in the bunch.:)

Result... a strong 11th place...not too bad considering the following

Limp mode 15 min in to the race.. CPU reset and off we went again.

then one of the rear breaks caught fire [:@]... very unusual, supposedly something wrong with the caliber,.. but after some frantic moments and the extensive use of a fire extinguishers, all was well..

Then we got the n75 fault again.... turbo would only run intermittently.. so around half the track we would out run almost everybody, and the remaining every body caught back up to us again...

Finally the front brake pads let go and we only had 50pct stopping power left...:wtf:

Anyway... 11th and we are chuffed , finish the whole race on a budget and it was lots of fun..

Car is no more as it was donated to charity, almost a pity as I actually really liked it..

ceers..

ps in hindsight...
yellow stuff break pads
double check calibers all around
better tires, Nankang sport were ok but not great
