Hi All,

What implications would I have trying to fit a supercharger to my LC?

I know it will take a bit of power away from the engine but in comparison it will be nothing.

The thought process behind it is more contant power with the added boost of the turbo. Has anyone done it on an LC before?

Thanks,

Simo

Being as the spool of the tiny little K03 it extremely quick i doubt you would gain much from what would be a large amount of work and cost

isn't this the same as what's in the new TFSI VAG engines?

What about twin turbo? Small one for quick spool up and then a larger one cutting in higher up the rev range (pretty much the same as the Porsche 959 had).

if you want to skip the "lag" why not make an more efficient engine, maybe try this:
2,0 stroker build with 10:1 comp ratio pistons (9,5:1 if you dont want the 10:1)
small port head
topmount manifold
apr/sem intake manifold
water/methanol so you can get more ignition timing
wideband lambda ECU
maybe a borgwarner turbo EFR6255 / EFR6258

only thing is i think you cant go that high in boost with the high comp ratio 10:1 as some other BT build. but you could get a fast spool, just an idea.

I read about some fo those when I did a search but the only go up to 3500 revs which is a bit ****.

That looks like it might cost a lot. I was just wondering if a supercharger could be bolted on. With it already being turbo'ed.
