Hi guys.....just brought a universal micro TT for my Cupra http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120158759206&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=002

Want to get in wired in asap but weren't too sure how to go about doing this!! There is english instructions for what wire does what, but i werent sure whether the TT itself needs to be wired directly into the ECU?!?!?

Could any body possibly shed some light on this for me and if so provide me with a wiring digram for the ecu so i know what pin does what!?

Thanx in advance guys

Leon

Everything i have read about turbo timer on our cupras has all been bad, aparently they cause problems with the immobiliser system and can cause problems.

ive got a greddy timer in my cupra m8 and havnt had any problems so far, your best just getting an auto electrician to fit it for you, cost me 40 quid to get it fitted.

Oh ok unless your going to use the other features on the turbo timer like the greddy one which i think comes with 0-60s n other stuff but the car is fitted with an auxillary coolant pump which pump which pumps the coolant around to the turbo to cool it after the engine is switched off anyways so infact a turbo timer in itself, seems a waste of money imo.

Don't know if it's the sensors or what but sometimes it's fine then the next the alarm will go off.

So i just leave it open. I live in the sticks so it'll be arite.

A few of the golf lads up here had the same problem and fitted a relay and got round the problem. I'm pretty sure there is info on the web somewhere about it.
