Turbo timers

am looking at getting one for my ibiza cupra as am getting fed up of having to wait for a minute or so to let my car cool down before i turn it off

i was just wondering, has anyone got one fitted to there car? if so, what one? are they are pretty much the same? what one would people recommend?

just take it easy for the last few mins of your trip and spend the money on somthing of better use

they are illegal anyway

Believe these are a nightmare to fit due to the alarm system.

in that case get a clifford avantguard alarm as it has remote start (for tubo warm up) and remote off

I had one fitted on my GT4 but never used it.

I would just take it nice and easy the last few miles home to let the turbo cool a little

thats what i do too! just take it really easy last mile of the trip to let turbo cool down and then wait a few seconds then turn it off. spend the money towards a remap or a forge 007 r.v or a pannel filter

i just sit for minute or two to let it cool down always do it now like a habit lol

Basically the TT can be fitted and made to work correctly but the vibrations of your running engine will upset your interior alarm sensors and your alarm will go off as you walk away from your car.
This is assuming that a Mk4 Ibiza has ultrasonic sensors and not microwave sensors to monitor the interior.

i do take it easy for the last mile or so when im driving home, just wondered if it was worth getting one or not. by the sounds of things, looks like its not! shall spend the money elsewhere!
