Recently stolen a mk1 180 with a whole host of performance goodies. looking through paperwork from awesome Gti and it advises possible blown turbo to manifold gasket... This was 15 thousand miles ago.... It is sounding quite tractor like and is annoying..could anyone please advise where to get this type of work done and approx cost... I know a gasket is only pounds and pence... Could I possibly get away with nipping bolts up... And how do I get to them
Any advice is appreciated

Nether had a problem with the bolts before. Take the 3 bolts out (17mm I think) slide the gasket out slide the new one in and bolt back up.

Easy as falling off a log.

One word of advice - do not put exhaust paste around it to lug any gaps! Exhaust paste upstream of the cat can break off an wind up inside. They rattle around, create hotspots and in short kill the cat.

Not saying you would, but in case you get tempted!
