Turbo whistle?

well since yesterday morning, I can hear more of a whistling sound coming from the turbo....not induction sound

also the car seems to be popping a lot more and is slightly jerky sometimes when coming on boost in the lower revs

I know its not a coil pack as I have experienced this issue before and know what it feels like

the turbo is boosting fine @ 1.1bar (currently what its set to) and does not feel like its down on power.....

I am wondering if the turbo is cracked, or if there is a gasket blowing?

although if its a gasket blowing its more of a rough tractor like sound instead of a whistle

Could be a bad batch of fuel or if your running low some stuff from the bottom of the tank

You filled up recently?

Can you get access to the manifold to check for cracks?

Yes, I've heard turbo whistling more when a gaskets have started to fail (when I was on K03S)

can only see it from the top, but its a ball ache to get to it from the bottom

not ran low recently, filled up only the other day on Optimax as I always do and dont use anything else

thats what I suspect it is, probably one of the rubbish ATP ones used, despite ordering all the proper seat ones and leaving them in the kit

will prob have to get AMD to have a look or Bill on Sunday if possible.....
