Open it half way to start with, then do half a turn in the soft direction until your happy with the sound.

Make sure you test how the car idles when your happy with the noise.

Best way is to floor it in 2nd gear upto 4000 rpm and then release the throttle & push the clutch down and let the revs go back to idle.

If all goes well then :D

If not and it stalls, it needs adjusting towards the hard setting.

Im not 100% sure on what i've said so check the main Turbo Smart DV thread by myki.

Have now fitted it, Sounds Louud:D for a standard car!!!!!
have it set up slightly more atmos that resirculating,
BUT when i rev the car stationary it goes back and ticks over fine and also when i drive it unless Im in a high gear at low revs
i.e if im doing between 40-50mph in fifth and i put my foot down for 2 seconds then let off and dip the clutch the car will drops past 500 revs and cut out??
drives fine but does this mean i have to set it more recirc again??

also not as loud as id liked when the bonnets closed :( but soon ill do a coldside relocation and put it near the front grill and get a map and itll be louder!:D
any help thanks

Sorry i never got back to you sooner mate. Seems like you've got it sussed now anyway lol.

Aslong as it doesnt cut out in 1st or 2nd gear then its set right mate, if its doing if at like 40+ mph then i wouldnt worry as its not as if you dip the clutch at that speed anyway. When you do the cold side relocation like my old set up you'l have to re-adjust it but doubt it'l be far out anyway.
