I have Eagle F1s too, very good tyre but when down to 3mm of rubber they seem to let go too easy. But simple solution is change them for more ha ha, im on my 3rd set i love em.

I posted another thread about just replacing the front 2 tyres but I def need 4, dot code says 97 so even though the rears look fine I probably need all 4, however.....

I'm looking around for deals and went into kwikfit (i know i know), they offered me 4 falkens, valves and all wheel realignment with a discount for a total of £420
Now I never recognised the name, if he'd said 452's I'd have taken them, so I asked him to write it down.

Am I right thinking that fk225 40/w 18z914x are just the falken 914's? If so then that's proper budget tyres?

What's the norm when replacing with new tyres, should I ask for tyres made this year?
The reason I ask is because i don't do much mileage
