Tyre noise or wheel bearing?

We like the steering wheel to be straight when driving straight but the car doesn't care, as long as the wheels are aligned correctly, which they appear to be.
Our hands fit best on the steering wheel when it is straight.
The tie rods are adjustable and connect the steering to the wheels and adjust the toe in. It is this adjustment which can move the steering off centre

Thank you this is indeed the issue I have, and of course I would like to drive with a straight steering wheel as for my eyes/hands it is very annoying to drive with the steering off center.
