When i put my reg into these trye pressure websites i get

TYRE SIZE FRONT TYRES REAR TYRES
225/45R17 W 91 2.0 BAR / 29 PSI 2.0 BAR / 29 PSI

However i have 18's on the car so 29 & 29PSI has to be wrong.

I get the same info but the various sites I've tried do list my car and wheel size correctly.

Seat told me it's 29 too, despite the fuel filler showing 33. ARRRRRRGGH!

So is your fuel filler sticker different to mine?

For my hatchback:

Fuel Flap: Front: 32; Rear: 29
Websites: Front & Rear: 29

I would trust the fuel flap on the tyres. I just don't trust it on locking...

fuel sticker is showing 16 and 18 wheels, and for the 18s shows 33PSI.
but I think my 17s should be 29...

Thanks. I think that 33 must be correct. Three models, two tyre sizes and how many variations in the correct PSI ??!!

I've ordered a Ring Automotive 12v compressor pump from Amazon. Just in time based on this thread.

it is confusing, hence the need to read the fuel flap sticker.
which is rendered irrelevant if the diameter of the wheels is changed.....
33 PSI on a 2.0 TDi does sound right for 18s. Heavier car than the petrol and an estate as well.
I think 29 on 17s sounds a little low - will do more research before the digital footpump comes out!

As you can see at least on my car (Petrol) with 18s, they estate 35 and 32.

I don't know if the region where the car is sold has anything to do with this stickers being different

I'm going to go with 33 as that's what the sticker says! Which is what I used initially but was then told 29. Ah well.

Compressor has just arrived from Amazon, will test it later….

according to dealer...
225/45/17 on a 2.0 184 ST should be:
Normal 32PSI front, 29 PSI rear
Fully loaded 38PSI front, 41 PSI rear.
how I get a new fuel flap sticker is being investigated.
But running at 33 and 33 might explain how I got 65MPG yesterday on a 135 mile trip down the M1...

The tyre pressure details printed on the sticker inside the fuel flap for the factory-fitted original Bridgestone Turanza ER300 225/45R17 91W 17 inch-wheel tyres on my Mk3 Leon 1.8TSI DSG Petrol FR 5-Door hatch are as follows:

Normal load: Front 32PSI/2.2BAR & Rear 29PSI/2.0BAR

Fully loaded: Front 38PSI/2.6BAR & Rear 41PSI/2.8BAR
