Tyre pressures

Hi

I was wondering if folk has worked out the best tyre pressures for different settings at all? Such as what performs best on a track, what's best for day to day, what's best for off the line and so on. I'm on the 19" rims, so I'd guess there will be different pressures for wheel size too?

Recommended pressures

I'm currently doing as suggested on the 19" of 39 at the front and 38 at the rear. Are you running on the 19" too? What way does it improve things? Cheers man.

225/40-18 Conti SC5, handling is good, response is good, thread wear is in balance.
Gives nice firm ride, without being bouncy.
Tried 36psi and it felt soft and less responsive.

Is that 40PSI all around? I'm using the titanium pack 18" and following the recommended 36 x 33PSI at the moment

Yes, all around.
I drive mostly alone.

I'm running 31 all round at the moment which I wouldn't recommend. My label says 29 front 26 rear
