Tyre pressures

Recommended tyre pressure levels depend on the engine & body type, not on the tyre size.
SEAT recommends same levels for all tyre sizes in a specific model, engine & body type combination.
I have the maintenance handbook for Leon Mk4 on hand, and it shows all tyre label contents, of which there are 14 variants with distinct part numbers.
If you don't mind sending me your VIN via a PM, I can find the exact tyre label that was in your car and its contents.
Edit: 245/40 is not the official size for 18" wheels, in case you're not the one who replaced the original tyres. Factory mounts 225/40s on 18s.
Maintenance handbook lists those tyre labels by part numbers, not by an engine variant & body type unfortunately. Hence the need for a VIN.
I've currently got 36 psi as this is what the car came with when purchased used from seat dealer.
Thing is that I had a passenger in the back who said the car was springy hence me questioning the tyre pressure I should be running at.
If you're happy with 36 PSI then you could always just adjust to suit when you have additional weight in the back?
Common location for the location of a tyre pressure label is on the inner face, low down, of the central door pillar or on the end face of one of the front doors or on the inside of the fuel filler flap.

Had another look and found the sticker which says 36psi all around increasing to 45 fully laden.
Checked pressures which were between 34 & 34.5 psi. Now increased to 36psi.
