Tyre question

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place but I'm just wondering what effect can going from stock 205/45/16 back to 195/45/16 have on my mk4 Ibiza?

Nothing what so ever. The 195 is just slimmer then the 205. Can I ask why do you want to do this tho?

Tbh I found a set of alloys with near new tyres that would suit my car only the tyre profile is less hence my question I'm just wondering do you think it would be daft going back the way? My car isn't lowered just the sports suspension from the factory

It will look abit strange yes but nothing stopping you doing it. I wouldn’t personally however if it saves you money for now then go for it. Then when you need new tyres you can always change them all back to 205s. Again I personally wouldn’t change the tyre size on a standard height car but that’s just my opinion buddy. It’s your car at the end of the day.
