Tyre sealant removal

Hi all,

Need suggestions on how to remove tyre sealant from my alloys without damaging the finish. Any thoughts would be appreciated to avoid paying £45 for a full refurb.

Have you tried white/surgical spirit at all? It will be agressive enough to break down the latex and adhesion agents used in it, but would still leave the protective coating over the alloy's intact.
