How was the grip? That's where I was at.

I'm guessing low... Hence the 'need' for that for drifto.

I'm not sure on how many Ibiza drivers go drifting though, I need to check.

I didnt think we was discussing grip here just the safety of stretched tyres?

Is grip not an important part of tyre safety?

For instance, if it wasn't illegal would you run your front tyres until slick?

I dont understand what your trying to get at here. I was just saying im sure that tyre didn't go like that purely from being stretched. You seem like your looking for an argument for some reason?

My main worry was that stretching my tires would cause increased danger. Not a massive fan of stretched tyres anyway and wouldn't want to go more than a size smaller. Main reason for doing it is to keep my budget down so I can afford to do a few other mods this year.

Cheers for the advice so far.

ive only just realised you want to run a 205 on a 7.5" rim that is next to no stretch at all and will not cause you any harm
