U0121 fault code and wire exposed

Hey chaps, just wondered if this is the cause of my problems. My 2013 seat ibiza diesel is getting a U0121 code. Flashing glow plug, static abs, engine, power steering, traction control.

I went around testing the fuses including the ones on top of the battery all came back fine. I noticed the wire going into the fuse on the battery had been rubbing on the air intake and looks to be messed up (see images) can anyone confirm this may be the cause of the issue and what i need / how to replace these wires. Many thanks in advance.

Ok, cut the worn piece out and applied some electrical tape after re-connecting and warnings have gone. Just in case anyone else gets this issue this could be a fix

Hi .the red /yellow wire you repair was it a 12v feed going to pin 1 of the connector.thx
