Hi, I snagged the plastic underbody cover on a curb last night and damaged it. It's the plastc panel that covers the sub-frame on the left side under the car. I'm not sure if the cover runs the full length from front wheels to rear but the damaged section is just behind the front wheel on the left (passenger) side. Does anyone please have a part number for this and do you know if it's an easy job to fix.

Cheers.

Not sure, but I think you're looking for item no. 5 in the drawing below.
The article number is 3R0 825 205 C

See here for full part list: http://www.partsbase.org/seat/exeo-...rbody-trim-insulation-for-floor-cover-plates/

There's a seller on ebay called nerobart who does engine & gearbox undertrays plus fixing kit for around £45/50.
I've used him a couple of times for my previous Passat and current Exeo, his A4 B7 trays fit the Exeo fine and don't rattle.
Quality of them is good enough, one on my Passat was on for a few years no problem. Always worth adding a couple of cable ties as well as the fixings to make them a bit more secure.
Think when I priced the engine undertray alone for the Passat from VW they wanted something like £140, bit excessive for a not particularly vital piece of plastic

Thanks, I phoned my local TPS and ordered one for £34. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem to fit, In the meantime I've covered the hole with duck tape to keep the water and grit out.
