universal ipod cable - surprise

The factory lead time I was quoted in the UK is 12 to 16 weeks so that sounds about right. If however a car of that spec is in your country hub it would be a couple of weeks. The Seat iPod cradle is not a factory fit option so that should not cause a delay. The combined USB and Aux port is though. I guess the colour, spec and options on your car mean the car is not in the hub. Which version have you ordered?

They said I should have it by the end of the month, a day later when I asked about the iPod cradle they said it could delay it up to 3 months, I wonder if he didn't just say that to get me off the idea...

And I was under the impression that the iPod cradle is something you either get pre-installed in the car or not get at all... the combined port, according to the Seat UK site is a standard -

Only suitable for vehicles with combined USB/aux-in port (CUP) - All vehicles built after week 45 2009 come with CUP as standard.

Perhaps that's just for the UK...

ONLY prob I have with mine is that when a track is finished and it autoplays the next song, it does not update title/info. if you skip a track with the controls it does. if i browse back a page, then hit track info, its there. weird but not life changing.

anyone else have this prob? any fixes?

Odd this, I know I replied before with no problems but my Nano does this if it's been playing a playlist that is paused before getting in and connecting to the car. If I select a playlist or an album from the car everything behaves fine, possibly a feature of the Apple not sending an updated signal to the head unit. As you say toggle track back and forward the display refreshes on the head unit.
