Currently I have a Silver 2013 SE 1.2 TSI 5dr without the tech pack(bought 2nd hand 2 years ago), and ive been more than happy with the car, recently I have been thinking of changing my car in spring and quite like the idea of an FR Technology 5dr with the 1.4 150 act engine... possibly in Apollo Blue....

I have the 1.8TSI engine, Apollo Blue.

If you're looking for a bit more power and a fresh change i bet those extra HP's will feel a lot better.

Just depends on how much the upgrade costs, usually with cars i go with my heart :)

Very tempted with a PCP deal on a brand new 14 TSi SC FR in Alor Blue..... hmmmmm

Haha thats what i have just done... But 5dr it was a 'stock' vehicle, 18 wheels only extra, which i wouldnt have gone for, but they look soooo much better imho compared to 17s

0% Apr as well!!!

the car im looking at is also from stock with the only option apart from the met paint is a spare wheel( I had the need to borrow a spare a few months back... so this I think is essential...)

Oh right, slightly annoyed would have liked the convenience pack, and maybe Seat Sound, but thats minor i can live with, keep for 3 ish years until the 4th Gen comes out is the plan at the moment!

Overall it is an OK car. I suspect the suspensions are more rigid on the FR. This is something you may wish to consider.

Haha only done around 300 miles in just over a week, although that's more than I would normally - new car so every opportunity to go out in it haha, can't wait to fully stretch its legs as you said!!

I can just add that after those 1k km the engine really feels better and you can also press it abit more, very fun engine.

You are bringing me back memories of when i used every excuse to take the car for a drive, and "accidently" made the drive longer just to sip in more miles .

I just bought a fdw detailing materials when I'll finish my weekly wash I'll upload some pics to this thread
