A mate noticed the other night when I slammed on to come to a stop that my wheels would move back towards the arch. I have Brembo calipers fitted with 305mm discs, so what I think is happen when I'm braking hard the wheels are stopping but the momentum of the car is still going forward and forcing the lower arms back.

So does anyone do uprated or tubular lower arms?

Thanks in advance, Dave

proflex make the uprated bushes iirc

either that or get a pattern and have some made

just made up a jig myself for some cortina CDS tube ones

my mk2 golf did this (identical suspension setup) it was the lower arm rear bush. but some standard non genuine lower arms complete with all bushes and ball joints for.. £24 for the pair :D.. easy peasy to do.

Will just the bushes need changing then to stop this? Or would it be more ideal to look for a whole uprated lower arm?

the wishbone is a big piece of steel - no need to 'uprate' it

just new, or poly bushes will fix it
