This is what it says on the forge site

"Made from billet aluminium, this recirculating diverter valve dumps the charge-air back into the air intake system keeping external noise to a minimum. This increases both quicker throttle response and higher clamping load to maintain boost pressure more reliably"

the standard one performs well but it has a rubber diaphram which can split and will weaken with age.

the 007 has a piston instead of a rubber so it cant tear.

the forge works well but needs a yearly service which is easy to do, i found it prone to sticking otherwise.

the APR R1 is a diapham like the stock one but much more beefy if you wanted an alternative to piston derived versions

cant really call it a performance mod but you need a fresh one if its been working for 3 years and you suddenly make its job harder by remapping
