USB help

Hi everyone! I have just bought a 2019 Leon Cupra 290. Loving it!
Wondering if anyone can help with fitting my dashcam?
If I plus it into either of the 2 front USB sockets , it doent work & all I can do is use the cars display to show what has already been captured on the SD card.
If I plug it into the rear USB s tho it works fine. Works fine with cig lighter socket & adaptor too!
While I will eventually hard wire it neatly, Im still finding stuff out!
Is there some kind of configuration I can do to allow the front USBs to be power supply only?

Front USB ports not working

Hi, Wondering if anyone could help My apple car play kept disconnecting so i replaced the cable and now neither of the USB ports are working - carplay won't connect nor will my phone charge I've checked the manual for fuse locations however it only mentions a rear USB port which I dont have...
