USB ports, use to charge only?

I've got a 66 Plate Ibiza FR Tech with single USB / carplay / Full Link, and have a Samsung phone, when plugged in, would ask if I would like to connect, I just said no, and that's the end of it. Charges all-right, probably equivalent of a 1A charger. 45 min drive would charge about 45-50%.

I think now I’ve set my iPhone to use CarPlay it never asks me each time and just connects. Maybe if I ‘forget’ the device then cancel it next time it will ask each time.

no it's the 5 door hatch but I can't see they would be different. Mine was built in March so may be new feature

Checked and mine doesn’t have USB ports in the back, they must have changed them since April 2017!

Mine was built on the 27th February, but it's the ST and has 2 charge ports in the back for passengers.

If you have an iPhone and don’t want to use CarPlay, go into Settings, General, Car Play and select Seat. You then have the option to remove the car. Once that is done CarPlay will not start automatically when you plug the phone into the USB.

Nor me. I appear to be connected to more SEATs than i actually remember ever driving!
