It doesn't do full post codes afaik as we're one of the only countries that 5 characters doesn't cover for. Some have managed to get them on with some work to the map image through POIs, but vwnavi will tell you more.
 
Not sure if it will work on the 315, but I do know you cant put the maps on a SD card (well not on the 510 anyway)..

I get all my stuff off a member on the mk5golfgti forum. I'm having trouble getting my V7 map working at the mo so cant comment on it as yet..

I went to VW last night and they were trying to tell me the same thing, and kept saying it was a CD and said no its an SD, over and over.

There is an option on the latest RNS315's which come with the Leon's that states please insert you SD to update Map or something similar its on the Setup page under memory basis or something like that. So basically the VW Stealers arent up to speed with the new sat nav's either and i cant find any info on the SD updates anywhere. Im going to Ted Johnsons on Friday and i will ask them then.
