Vag-com lessons ??

Just an idea, but i thought it might be usefull for someone or a couple of ppl that know how to use vag-com well and also know how to log and read the results correctly, and also what blocks do what ,prehaps they could do a how 2 for it ??

as i would like to log the car and read the results, then make a change to my car do the same, read the results and go AHHH i need to do this or that needs doing now ??

anyone want to do a idiots guide to Vag-Com ???

We were planning on doing something similar online, however here in Germany we've also done couple of courses for those who are interested. Best would be to ask your local VAG-COM distributor if they also do similar things.

thing is pickie, theres so many different models, and the mk3 Ibiza only has so many features compared to other models, more than half of vagcom does nothing for me.

mainly stick with the engine controller, blocks 003 for maf, 020 for cfs, and 115 for boost

I occasionally play with block 004 to log temps and 066 to log speed

That's exactly why such a course can only handle general points of "how to use", but based on questions from the participants one can easily go into detail for individual models and modules. However, what we plan online is also a more generic introduction like it can already be found on the page of one of our distributors in the UK. Take a look at these demo movies, they explain stuff quite well!

ok cheers for the replys i understand there are didfernt cars that do different things, so i guess since i have a Mk3 Ibiza then id want lessons on that as i want to understand my cars performance more

iv told u basically all u need to know...unless u need the basics...in which case watch those demo movies as it shows u how to log data etc

there really isnt much else to it
