Those logs don't say feck all!

You need to do a run! 3rd or 4th gear from say 2,000 rpm to redline!

log block 3 & block 118 for MAF and N75 duty then come back again :)

Oh don't log more than 2 blocks at once as it reduces sample rate too much! Best just logging one at a time!

sorry but new to this, what do blocks 115 & 118 do then? so you are saying for maf and N75 duty it is block 3 and 118, so basically this is better to do on a motorway and do in 3rd 4th gear and floor it, like I say im new to vag com, gotta start somewhere.
will do some logs on sunday as just getting used to vag com & what can be done, what is required.

Yea you need a good run a nice quiet stretch of A road is needed ideally! Motorway is a bad idea as you have to slow down to say 30 mph and accelerate through the gear to 90! You only want to log at full throttle, pootling around tells you feck all!! ;)

Block 115 is actual and requested boost
Block 003 is MAF
Block004 is Air intake temperature
Block 020 is Timing pull
Block 118 is N75 duty

So important ones to log are 3, 115, 118 you can see if there is a problem from these!

You think there is something wrong with yours then mate?
 
I have replaced the maf, got a CAI and just want to see if this is causing a problem, have been getting some hesitation and just does not feel right and not driving like it used to.

as you know you can still get new maf sensors that are dodgey, will be doing a run this weekend so ill post the results, im pretty impressed with vag com and what you can do, shame I dont know what the :censored: im doing!

Could be something to do with the REVO stage 2, there were some posts somewhere about it! But if it's been fine since having stage 2 i guess it's something else! When did you last have new spark plugs?

Do the logs anyway and post back!
 
I dont have stage 2 yet but was thinking about it, unsure when the spark plugs were done, how often should these be done, im sure the dealer has done them in one of the services.... unsure?
 
thinking about it, yes I remember asking them when I bought the car at 40k if the plugs had been changed and they said yes, so im now on 52k?

I will do these logs and get back in touch with ya, as you know it is like doing an elimination process, gotta start somewhere.

so those blocks you gave me are the main to log when doing a run yeh?

done some changes with vag com today, like anti hijack, chirp etc.

how do you go about doing 0-60 times, if you can through vag com & bhp and torque calculations?

Speed in kmh is on block 4 or 5 i think! Just go through it you'll see! Block 120 gives you your torque which you cn work out the BHP, but wouldn't bother as it's not accurate!

Block 31 & 32 are other useful blocks to log

Block 31 is Actual and Requested fuelling

Block 32 is your fuel trims IIRC
 
o.k will try these out sometime, just playing around and seeing what vagcom can do, pretty impressed so far.

how's the LCR treating you then? being good...?

was tempted myself to go down the APR route but went for revo as more aggressive, APR is bloody smooth tho & good!

I have block 115 logged as well.

My brother drove the car tonight and said it defo didnt feel right, we did a 4th gear run up the rev range and it semed to hesitate almost like a mis-fire?

your help, advice would be appreciated.
 
Hi yermother, I use optimax fuel, I dont have a sps3 so cant do the settings.
the maf log was done from 3rd to 4th up with no probs, doing it in 4th gear up this is where the hesitation started, ive got the log if you wanna see it, you can see slight dips in the g/s as the rpm goes up, unsure if this is anything to worry about. also got block 115 if you want to see.

did some torque readings and max it went to was about 305Nm, dont know what this works out to be in lb torque?

I think my brother enjoyed ragging the car around!
