The remote stopped working on my car yestreday I thought it must be the battery, changed that and no joy, so I figured the fob is dead. I had a spare remote so used vag-com to add it went to 46 - cent conv, adaption -10 channel 01 test then save and added the new remote. All worked fine until I changed the CTS today and then the remote stopped working and when I tried to re-add the remote the channel is now unavailable.
Could I have knocked something when changing the sensor? I tried disconnecting the battery and that didn't do anything. No fault codes and if I do 46 cent - conv - measuring blocks -08 the channels 03 - 12 read ok, but 01 and 02 are not available.
The doors and alarm lock and work fine from the key.
