Hi everyone,
(seat ateca 2017 DDYA))
I’ve been trying to disable the low tyre pressure warning for months now, but it’s impossible! I have to use VCDS every time to clear and reset the warning!
I don’t have the original car radio, which is why I’m trying to disable this low tyre pressure warning.
I haven’t found anything matching my search in VCDS, and the forums where I’ve posted my problem haven’t yielded any results!

Another strange thing I’ve noticed is that module 5F is inaccessible to me – why is that? Every time I try to access 5F, I get the message ‘ECU not responding or absent’?
Why am I looking in module 5F? In case there’s an option to disable the indirect tyre pressure monitoring.
I’ve only tested one option in module 17 – unchecking the tyre option – but that wasn’t enough.
Thank you for your help.

I am guessing you cant see 5F as that is the Multimedia system (eg Radio etc) which you no longer have

Afraid I dont have an Attica in my OBD11 Garage but on the leon under control unit 17, long coding there is an option to turn off Tire Pressure Monitoring Display (set to yes change to No)

Hi,
Actually, I already did that!
In module 17, I unchecked the tire option,
but after confirming and restarting, the tire pressure sensor was still showing a fault three days later. I reconnected the VCDS for a check, and the option is indeed unchecked in module 17, so
there must be something else storing the “indirect flat tire detection” option in memory.

Just to clarify: warning light, warning light cleared, warning light reset (vcds) , no warning light, then 2 or 3 days later while driving, low tire pressure warning! Checked tire pressure—pressure is fine!
