having these problems aswell expect i have extra ones. my engine likes to cut out when im slowing down to a junction or lights, pretty sure thats a maf problem. might have to invest in a new one along with a n75. cant wait for pay day. for a hose to just split surely thats not that common, unless youve been in your engine bay playing around i cant see it just going. maybe im wrong tho as a few people on her do moan about standard hoses. what was the outcome on those pressure test kits? i have vag com but really unsure how to do anything other than check for codes lol

If you look closely on the VAG OEM rubber hoses you'll see "made by cadburys" on them.

They really are like chocolate when they get old. I've replaced numerous oil breathers and vac hoses on mine.

me too changed all of my ones now! i havent pressure tested it as yet for it seems to be better still abit laggy in 6th gear tho! going to put some new plugs in this wknd so will see if that helps!
