Nothing worse than that..
..at a guess, it could be a missfire causing what you describe (could be a fair few other things, more description and checking the car on VagCom would help). I'd start by checking that all the coil packs are properly pushed down..

Then consider using VagCom to scan the car for faults. It could be a missfire caused by a number of things (plugs, colilpacks, lambda sensor causing over-rich/lean, etc) - might also be a mount of some sort depending on what sort of vibration

ive had the car on the ramps today and discoverd that my front lower engine mount / stableiser is missing?? If anyone can post of picture of what to order or a part number so i can order another one? Also could anyone recommend a solid engine mount to me? cheers
