definetly thinking about doing something like this, previous owner has scratched the s**t out of the door handles. Would I have to sand them down first or does this vinyl stuff smooth it all over? Also, I like the way "adam cupra 20vt" has wrapped around the CD player etc, is this simply a case of pulling off the plactics?

The interior handles scratch really easily, mine are bad too, just a trade mark of a Leon i guess.

My handles are in pretty good shape except the driver's when I had to get to the door seal, and damaged it prising it open.

to paint them dont you have to remove the rubbery top coat first? sure i read summat about nitromoors to get it off and then sanding them down?
