vr6 clutch

Is this the right one i need for a vr6 clutch conersion below?

Clutch i belive is the correct one, how ever i bought mine from ECP last weekend and it was £78 new. That was for a LUK item also.

Yup Get it from ECP

And get the required bolts from VW for the clutch and flywheel..

You running this on your current setup Danny? Wondering if it can handle torque figures in the region of 300 lb/ft

i`ve read on ED38 that the vr6 clutch can hold upto 350lbft.

Yeh you will need the required bolts, the part numbers are in the part numbers thread.

Make sure that they are M7 tho as TPS sent some M8 from the part number i gave them which held the process up by a day.

Strange works for me.

If you use the search engine on ecp just enter golf mkIII(1996) 2.8 vr6

Most people use the LUK version to good effect i belive.
