vvt ECU into non vvt car

Hi all,

Hope someone can steer me in the right direction. I have a donor car, Audi a6 1.8t AWT engine code, with a solenoid operated variable valve chain tensioner. This car has also been remapped with a generic map for k03 turbo. I am breaking and robbing this car as much as possible and putting the parts into a Quattro a6 1.8t with an APU engine code. The APU engine is non vvt. I know that the ECU will need adapting IMO ed etc but is there anything else to be done/look out for?
