VW Golf Mk4 wiper arms

Does any body know if these would fit a LCR?
The arms i mean are the aero type..

Yeah i am.. Dont like the way you can put the aero blades on standard arms....

OH right thoght you was just after the upgrade. Not sure if the arms fit on a cupra r. Do they look better???

They sit much flusher, i mean they are flatter to the screen.. Unlike standard LCR ones that are fat and ugly...

Be good to know how you get on as mine dont seem to fit onto the existing arms that well, There not to bad though

I have them on a Cupra !

Are they windscreens different?

I do have to lop off abit off the N/S blade though as it hits the edge of the screen.

Yes straight fit but passenger arm is tad longer so as mentioned you need to trim blade which is a pain!
If you do a search you'll find some people on here have found aero blades that fit onto original arms, missus has this type on her Clio trophy, they just clip onto arms!

Done this to mine, didnt opt for the Mk4 Golf arm. VW do an aero kit which will fit most VAG cars, think bout £15 for the set. Pop into your local VAG dealer and ask for part no 1J2 998 002

What does that consist of then?

Do you keep the standard LCR arms? Because i like the flat Mk4 look.

yea, the upgrade kit for £15 goes on the standard arms. You can buy the mk4 arms and blades (aero style) from vagparts and fit them to your LCR - I have, but as mentioned had to trim a bit off the end of the passenger side blade.
