Please can anyone shed any light on what turbo is bolted to the 2006 and 2007 model??

they only seemed to do a 150bhp 1.8T MK4 Polo GTI, but depending on age (and model/platform?) 150bhp 1.8T's did come with a K03s

Dont you have a Polo GTI Cup Edition in UK? Thats the 180hp Version of the "normal" GTI.

To clear up some things a little: There is actually no turbo called k03"S" at kkk/borg warner.

This name was created by some users/tuners/forums whatsoever, but is not a name used by the manufacturer.

The difference between the "small" k03 and the so called k03s ist the compressor side.

The k03s (k03-052/82, K03-2075EYD5.88KCAXH per example) has a 8 blade compressor wheel which has:
Inducer Diameter 38.1mm
Exducer Diameter 51mm

while the smaller k03 (k03-025, K03-2072GAA5.88KCAXK per example) has a 12 blade compressor wheel with:
Inducer Diameter 36mm
Exducer Diameter 50mm

but both have same turbine size with 11 blades and
Inducer Diameter 45mm
Exducer Diameter 40.3mm

180bhp polo gti dont get sold in the uk. only the 150bhp so only the k03 turbo

hi think you will find it has a ko3s fitted no polo gti 1.8t has a ko3 fitted
