Mine is booked in with the dealer for a software recall. It isn't officially announced yet but cupra has told dealership there is a major software update only they can perform to rectify most of the issues on that piece of paper.
That's interesting to know, @First Timer Dan. The servuice manager at my supplying dealer informed me last month they were waiting on the release of a major software overhaul for the infotainment system in order to fix the problems I've been getting from time to time. I haven't heard from him since, so I think I might prod him for an update on whether the release is now available for my car.Mine is booked in with the dealer for a software recall. I have most of those.
They need the car all day as it needs to be plugged in via the ECU to update the master software not just a basic over the air infotainment update.
So will see if this solved any of the issues.

Can you screenshot the email and post here for reference please? Obviously blank out anything that needs it.My service manager has just emailed to say the major overhaul he's referring to is scheduled for release in late Q4. He got that from SEAT UK yesterday. So I guess what he's talking about is something different from what @EuKiwi has had done and @First Timer Dan is due to have done.

Is the dealership a franchise dealership dealing in different VW vehicles or is it a cupra specific dealership?.
I've heard different things from a local seat franchise dealer to an approved cupra dealership.
It is the approved cupra dealership that told me about the recall that's not broadcast yet to the wider network that will be being performed.
Possibly the software is ready to go and are just installing in people with ongoing complaints as like some sort of beta test to make sure they just don't recall to all formentors and turns out the software fix is worse and they have just started updating thousands of cars instead of hundreds?.
It is not unusual for there to be dummy runs.
My supplying dealer was W J King Bromley; a Vauxhall, Suzuki, Seat and Cupra franchised dealer all in one location. So not a dedicated Cupra centre. Is the dealership a franchise dealership dealing in different VW vehicles or is it a cupra specific dealership?.

Thanks very much for that - I'm going to speak to my Cupra dealer here who said no major update was planned.
