Hmm not great that, but there are things on the list which you can maybe improve yourself using the cars configurability (not a word, I know, but hopefully you get my gist) Brakes “feel” is most likely to do with the regenerative element on the hybrid. The grinding is not however. The speedo switch from mph to kph does effect pretty much all Formentors, but I would most definitely disable the function whereby the speed signs dictate the speed the car travels at in ACC. Emergency assist is VERY keen, I have adjusted mine to “late” in the settings as previously in medium, it was flashing at me for parked cars five or six car lengths away. Changing the sensitivity to “late” means I’m hardly ever “alerted”.
The rest of the list are all common on quite a few cars. My late May build VZ2 has faired pretty well as I don’t appear to get any of those aside from the ones I’ve tried to lessen the impact of above. Hope this is useful and if not, hope the dealer can assist in eradicating them. ✌?

Mine is booked in with the dealer for a software recall. It isn't officially announced yet but cupra has told dealership there is a major software update only they can perform to rectify most of the issues on that piece of paper.

I have most of those.

They need the car all day as it needs to be plugged in via the ECU to update the master software not just a basic over the air infotainment update.

So will see if this solved any of the issues.

That's interesting to know, @First Timer Dan. The servuice manager at my supplying dealer informed me last month they were waiting on the release of a major software overhaul for the infotainment system in order to fix the problems I've been getting from time to time. I haven't heard from him since, so I think I might prod him for an update on whether the release is now available for my car.

I had this done and it fixed every single one of the problems I had.

My service manager has just emailed to say the major overhaul he's referring to is scheduled for release in late Q4. He got that from SEAT UK yesterday. So I guess what he's talking about is something different from what @EuKiwi has had done and @First Timer Dan is due to have done.

Can you screenshot the email and post here for reference please? Obviously blank out anything that needs it.

Is the dealership a franchise dealership dealing in different VW vehicles or is it a cupra specific dealership?.

I've heard different things from a local seat franchise dealer to an approved cupra dealership.

It is the approved cupra dealership that told me about the recall that's not broadcast yet to the wider network that will be being performed.

Possibly the software is ready to go and are just installing in people with ongoing complaints as like some sort of beta test to make sure they just don't recall to all formentors and turns out the software fix is worse and they have just started updating thousands of cars instead of hundreds?.

It is not unusual for there to be dummy runs.

My supplying dealer was W J King Bromley; a Vauxhall, Suzuki, Seat and Cupra franchised dealer all in one location. So not a dedicated Cupra centre.

Wow you seem to have a few problems there

I think I am quite lucky as don’t seems to have half the problems you are having.

my brakes are a little spongee towards the end of pulling up I have regeneration set to max so don’t even have to brake much

I get the popping which is the car loosing signal for the sos function I just ignore it
Radar cruises control does not work in heavy rain but one stoops works again

brakes do grind but I put it down to not having the engine running you hear more noise from brakes
