As a keen clay-shooter one often treks across bits of the UK to visit a ground and waste yet another morning or more.

A journey across the Cotswolds this morning in my VZ2/265, down the Fosse Way to Stow-on-the-Wold, and the from there across country to near Cheltenham. We were 4 up, plus guns, carts and kit, driven in Comfort mode, down the Fosse that car was great, smooth, quiet and refined, once out of Stow' the roads opened up a bit, good driving experience. The Terramar does this sort of thing even better than my previous Ateca VZ2, the Terramar is just so much more involving, kind of tucks itself into tight corners with enough low-down torque to effortlessly punch out of the bends and all completely legally too. The financial penalty for all this pleasure appears to be an average fuel consumption of 35.2mpg, I'll find out how close that is to the real world at the next refill. The Terramar is a remarkably sorted vehicle.
