Want more power?! Best mods for ibiza cupra 1.8t

Alright,

My ibiza cupra is currently running 180bhp but its not got enough go init. Whats the best mods for an easy power gain?


Current mods are:
Ko4 turbo
Powerflow exhaust system cat back
exedy clutch vr6 flywheel
Some boost pipes and dumpvalve

It pulls well and boosts the gears fine but ideally looking for a bit more, iknow a remaps probably in order but what bits should I go about buying fitting first?

Was thinking de-cat and induction kit but thats about all i can think off.. help?

was thinking the same, you sure you dont just have a k03?

or if you do have a k04 most likely a k04 001. which if so you need it mapping up if you say it hasnt been

Only going by what I've been told, could be a standard turbo. Is it printed on th turbo or anything to say what type it is?

De-cat and possible remap?

Get some pics of your turbo and manifold on? You can tell, how bigs your maf and turbo intake? Should be 3inch i think if its a ko4.

Its got a fairly big intercooler onit, its currently mapped to 180 but id prefer it more so 220-240.

If its a mk3 with a k03 i think the best u can hope 4 is 200. The mk4 with the k03s is more like 220-240

Thats a ko3 by the look of it! Standard.

Just a uni cooler. You need a ko3s off a leon cupra 180 but some do have normal ko3 turnos on or 02plate golf gti. Then a proper remap, a silicone turbo intake hose (tip). Decat and exhuast. You'll get bout 235+ 245 maximum.

Yeah they are, just in the middle of fitting mine think the engine code was BBY (might be wrong tho)
