Warning triangle

Morning all

Wife was driving car this morning and a yellow triangle with exclamation mark came on next to parking brake light warning light on dash. She drove a few miles and parked car and when she restarted it the triangle was still there. Drove home and told me, I went out started the car and no warning triangle. Took the car for a spin no triangle. Looked in handbook and was as much use as a chocolate etc. etc.
Searched on the forum and mark 2 had something about tyre pressures? Does anyone have any ideas?? Your help would be appreciated as always, thanks.

Additional Information on the instrument display

So its there to draw your attention to the central display which contains details for the Caution Alert. So could be any of the caution conditions (yellow "warnings"). HTH

Could be anything, not sure if the warning triangle comes up if stop start unavailable? , could have been that if it does

Keep an eye out and reason info on display if you get it again.

Potential issues include headlight levelling issues
Or something like washer fluid level

When this lights up if you go into vehicle status it tells you what the warnings are for

Most stuff scrolls up on the center display when the warning triangle apears. Does on mine

Thanks for the answers folks, wife says it was just the triangle that came up nothing else. I have been out twice this afternoon and nothing showed so will just have to wait and see

Wife says parking brake light off and I did try to put handbrake on one notch and a sign came up immediately to release handbrake.
I'm sure if stop/start isn't avalilable it is an A with a line through it.

The manual was as the first chap to reply said but does not give all the possible causes unfortunately.

I had a warning for low washer fluid tonight which left the yellow warning triangle. The error message was viewable in the vehicle status section of dash menu.

Some messages and the warning triangle will only come up if your using that bit of equipment, I. E if you have say a tail light bulb out it will only come up whilst the lights are switched on.
Did you wife have something switched on when the triangle came up, that you didn't have on when you took the car out ?

She had lights on auto, so will try today and see if any bulbs blwn. Thanks

Checked with auto lights on no triangle. Will keep an eye on it and let you know if it comes back on. Thanks for all your thoughts.

Had this light up (3 times )today, went off after restart and at the last time stayed off so far, no other messages or lights on the dash or main screen, any ideas. Ta.

Aha, had a message flash up, very briefly when reversing out the drive, seems my reversing light bulb must be on the way out, when I checked it was working but maybe ready to give in soon.
