Warranty Change Over

Hi Peeps,

Bought another Seat yesterday and just wandered how i get the warranty changed in to my name?

Theres 6 month left on it? Do i have to change it over? or is it a case of booking it in to the seat garage and they will just know?

Any ideas?

I don't think you need to do anything. The warranty is on the car, not tied to an owner.

Sounds about right, i didn't get the warranty changed when i bought mine with a year left and subsequently had warranty work done without any probs.

If you want to there are change of owner cards in the owners maual pack but dont think you have to?

The dealer usually sorts that out.

My Leon has had some warranty work done and I didn't even buy it from a Seat Dealer - nor does/did it have full Seat history
